A highlight in the sports area of the WSB is always the ISAS. This year the sport management had to cancel the event.
Due to staffing problems, the 36th International Sport Shooting Season Opener 2023 cannot take place.
“For us, this has not been an easy decision, but the lack of personnel does not allow for proper preparation and execution of the event. We hope to be able to hold the event again in 2024,” explains Vice President Association Sports Rolf Dorn.
The ISAS has grown steadily in recent years before Corona, perhaps not always in the number of participants, but in scope, service and atmosphere. Usually athletes from more than 20 countries came together to compete in the air and small bore disciplines.
